Every Christian should get this book! After reading it I have a much more complete understanding of what Scripture means when it speaks of Satan being “the god of this world” and how the “whole world lies in the power of the evil one.” Gary Wayne makes a pretty convincing case for understanding the "sons of God” in Genesis 6:4 to be fallen angels who copulated with human women to produce races of giants. Adopting this view makes a number of Scripture passages come into clearer focus such as 1 Peter 3:19-20 and Jude 6. He argues that the seed of the serpent referred to in Genesis 3 is a physical seed that can be traced through Scripture and human history that will resurface in a visible, literal way in the end times. Wayne shows us the historical and philosophical connectivity between seemingly diverse movements and organizations such as gnosticism, pantheism, evolution, Free Masonry and even some Catholic orders. Satan truly disguises himself as an “angel of light.”But a word of caution is in order here. The reader must always keep in mind that much of the evidence Wayne leverages to support some of his claims is based in material that is legendary, apocryphal and mythological in nature. His conviction is that even if these sources differ with Scripture and with each other in detail there is enough agreement between them to conclude they witness to some substantive reality. Wayne quotes the old proverb, “Where there is smoke there is fire.” I tend to agree but it may also be true sometimes that legends and myths have no foundation in reality but rather give birth to one another.At times Wayne draws conclusions that may be superficial with regard to movements and events which have plausible alternate historical explanations. At various points readers need to check out what others have to say rather than just take Gary Wayne’s word for it.This is a big read of almost 700 pages (not including the bibliography) that suffers from repetitiveness and tedium after a certain point. Wayne’s main points are already well-developed by the time the reader gets to the mid-point of the book.My biggest concern comes at the very end of the book where Wayne advocates embracing the Koran as a source of truth alongside the Judeo-Christian Scriptures. At various points he also seems to endorse all monotheistic faith traditions as valid expressions of truth in opposition to gnosticism and pantheism.
Not really a Christian book, although it has some scripture quotes in it, but the author is more inclined to accept tales from occultist accounts, and secular sciences to generate his opinion.I really wasn't happy to read another silly regurgitation of Dan Brown speculations ..which to me is a mere distraction from a plainly put biblical narrative which the author detours from to go off on tales of a dead order ...what about the existing orders attached to the Vatican? What about the established Knighthoods of the old Monarchs that still exists, and practiced paganism?This book goes off from the plain Biblical narrative that clearly declares Rome ..Rome as once a Republic as ruled by Patricians, to one of those Patricians families overthowing the Republic into a tyranny, to that Patrician family being reduced to almost nothing, thus allowing the Republic of the Patricians to reform as a representative Senate again masquerading as a Christian priesthood while those ruling bloodlines rule their small portions of territories as mini emperor's ...or Monarchs.All this secret nonsense is a complicated web of fluff to distort what is plainly observed. Which that, along with the quoting of the toilet paper Koran as an authoritive witness makes me think the Author is a useful idoit at the 32nd rank of the Scottish Rite ...they are the only Freemasons to be so foolish to assign any legitimacy to the silly Koran.As for his speculations on Giants after the flood ...he does not even touch on the possibility of ancient Genetic engineering ..which seeing Messiah said that Angels don't have sexual organs, it really removes a very applicable possibly ...maybe even incubation Chambers for after the flood, but few want to stick their necks out there to acknowledge a superly advanced civilization before the flood ...even though all the mythological accounts imply it.I always suspect disacknowledgement of the possible conspiracy among the early establishment of orthodoxy ..really sucks up to establishment Christendom in cowardice. It's lame narratives (like the ones in this book) really just adheres to the insanity of Titian/demons and fables they tell the foolish men who worship them.I got this book because I heard the author mention the bloodlines of the Gents (Patricians) on some YouTube talk show ...and I thought to myself, wow! Maybe this guy has mapped their bloodlines out ...nope, to my disappointment.
